Pin header
1. Operational convenience and mechanical strength of the pin header are also important factors. The connector is usually the interface between the PCB main board and the external components. The receiving capacity of the pin header is very strong, and sometimes it may encounter considerable external force and is intact.
2. The components assembled by through-hole technology are much higher in reliability than the corresponding SMT components. Whether it is strong pulling, squeezing or thermal shock, it can withstand without being easily detached from the PCB.
3. The pin header processing for field wiring in the industrial field is usually a high-power component, which can meet the needs of different transmission of high voltage and large current.
4. These advantages are diminished with the reduction in component adhesion on the PCB. The pin header element is characterized by a compact design and easy placement, and the pin header of the through hole is significantly different in size and assembly form.
5. With electrical strength, refers to the ability to withstand the rated test voltage between the pins, between the contacts, or between the contacts and the casing.
